Staff Appreciation Week—THANK YOU!
On behalf of the OGJH staff, thank you to all of you who coordinated and donated food for staff appreciation this week. We are very appreciative of what you do for us. Because of the generosity of many, our staff is being treated to lunch meals throughout the week. THANK YOU!

No School at OGJH on Friday, May 6
O’Gorman Junior High School (along with OGHS) will have NO SCHOOL on Friday, May 6. On this date we will be hosting a large track meet that will require the use of most of our staff and many parent volunteers.

End-of-the-Year Checklist for Students/Parents
All library books are due Friday, May 13.  

Food Service Accounts
Please make sure that your child’s hot lunch account is at zero or above on their last day of school. If money is owed, your child’s report card will be held until the account has been handled. You may call 575-3356 to check on your child’s balance.

Please make sure that your 2021-2022 tuition account is paid. If money is owed, your child’s report card will be held until the account has been handled.

If your child took medication during the course of the school day, please remember to pick it up during the last week of school.

If your child has a fine, they will be notified during the last week of school. Fines could be given because of book damage, Chromebook damage, etc. Report cards will be held until your child has handed in all books (library or textbooks) or has paid any fines due.

*Report cards are scheduled to be mailed home the week of May 23.

Last Day of School Schedule: Friday, May 20
*7th Grade: 8:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; Dismissal at 10:00 a.m. at OGJH
*8th Grade: 8th Grade Mass at 8:15 a.m. at the Lorang Theatre at O'Gorman High School; 8th Grade students report to the OGHS Cafeteria by 7:50 a.m. Reception for parents and students to follow in OGHS Cafeteria; Dismissal after Reception. All are welcome.
8th Grade Mass Dress Code:
Boys: Dress pants, dress shoes, nice shirt tucked in.
Girls: May wear dresses, skirts, or slacks. Dress shoes. No strapless or spaghetti strap dresses (straps must be thick in width). If thick straps are worn, shoulders must be covered. No low cut front or back. In determining length, a student may hold their arms at their sides, the length of the garment should be at least as long as the student’s longest finger.
