Performing Arts

The performing arts are an important component of the educational experience at O’Gorman Junior High School.

Students involved in the performing arts learn the essential values of creativity, expression, problem solving, and perseverance, while constantly improving their skills in their chosen area. Students may choose to be in band, choir and/or orchestra which are classes offered during the school day. Additionally students may further their musical talents by joining groups that meet before school. These groups include marching band, jazz band, and show choir. Also, 8th grade students may also be a part of the OGJH Worship Team, which performs at our weekly school Masses.
