Last night, we welcomed our junior high parents for OGJH Open House!
Parents began the evening hearing from our principal, school counselor, activities coordinator, chaplain, and PES Sister about the year ahead and the many ways we support our students throughout their junior high journey.
Then it was time to head to class! 📚 Parents followed their child’s schedule, visited each class period, and met the teachers who will be walking alongside their students this year.
A strong partnership between home and school makes a difference, and we’re grateful to begin another year together! 💙🙏

🎒📚 Our Junior High is officially back!
Today marked the first full day with all of our 7th and 8th grade students together in the junior high! It was great to see our halls and classrooms filled with students ready to learn, reconnect with friends, and begin a new year together.
We also gathered as a school community to celebrate Mass with Fr. Kapperman, our OGJH chaplain followed by a Eucharistic procession through our halls. 🙏✝️ What a wonderful way to begin the year together, grounded in faith and community!

We had a fantastic time welcoming our newest students to OGJH! Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to meet our principal, some of our staff, and our Chaplain and PES Sisters.
Students also practiced opening their lockers, walked through their class schedules to find classrooms, and learned what to expect heading into junior high and all the opportunities that lie ahead. Best of all, they met new classmates and started building friendships that will last all year!
We're excited to kick off a great school year and can't wait to see everyone back in the halls. Welcome to the OGJH family! 💙💛
